Judges were amazed by her performance… ‘She’s here to win.’ Jessica didn’t come to make a comeback. She arrived to take over!

Talk about a resurgence. Twenty years ago, America’s Got Talent began as a talent show open to all, including teen singer Jessica Sanchez, who made it to the quarterfinals of Season 1 as a wildcard in 2006 before losing. She performed “I Surrender” by Celine Dion.

In Episode 7 of Auditions for the historic Season 20 of the show, Sanchez made a triumphant return to showcase her mature skills.

It was a surprisingly poignant return home. Regarding her journey since that terrible first season, she remarked, “I kind of fell out of love with music throughout the years because I was so young and swayed by what everyone wanted me to be, who they wanted me to be.” Even though it took me twenty years, I now have a clear understanding of my identity and goals. “I’m thrilled to return,” Sanchez remarked.

In addition to developing as an artist, she is starting a new phase in her personal life. “I’ve found my true purpose.” I’m now married. I recently found out that I am pregnant, which is another shocking discovery!

The woman is capable of belting! “I think they like you!” Simon Cowell remarked in response to the audience’s cheers as she concluded her performance. “Wow, 20 years is a long time, but it was well worth the wait,” Howie Mandel remarked. You took my favorite tune and turned it into your own, blowing the building’s roof off. You are truly remarkable. Mel B. agreed, saying, “I am shocked, Jessica. You sound like a bloody angel. Lovely. I can’t think of anything to say.

“I dunno, I think there is something very special happening on this stage with you,” Sofía Vergara said to the expectant mother, surprised by how appropriate the event was. “It’s incredible that you’re back after 20 years, pregnant, gorgeous, and so prepared to accomplish all of this. We’re on the 20th anniversary and the 20th season. Before reaching forward to smash the golden buzzer, he said, “I mean, I don’t understand what happened in these 20 years, but I guess they were meant to be because this was a special moment and I think that you deserve this.”
