Her pet dog was covered in marks she thought were insects. But after taking him to the vet she could not believe what was really attached to her dog!

Many people, regrettably, should never be permitted to own or be in close proximity to animals.
Hayden Howard became aware that something was up with her dog a few years ago.

While she was inside, Jackson, her English Mastiff, had been playing in the backyard. He appeared to be covered in mosquito bites when she called him in.

However, upon closer inspection, she discovered that the reality was even worse.Indeed, Jackson had numerous bullet wounds.

“I was utterly taken aback and unsure of what to think,” Hayden said. She immediately brought Jackson to the veterinarian after learning that he had been shot. Upon examining Jackson, the veterinarian discovered numerous little bullets.

This had come from a BB gun.
According to Hayden, “they were everywhere—one in his knee, one in his ear, and one stuck under his eyelid.”The veterinarian nearly had to shave because there were so many.

Jackson’s fur in order to remove the plastic shells. He had to leave 20 bullets in their original location while removing a total of 27.

The veterinarian also discovered 20 other bullet holes in Jackson’s frail physique.
More than 70 shots had been fired at him.
“I’ve never witnessed an animal being shot that frequently. Assistant Chief Craig Hayes of the Seymour Police Department stated, “It’s a very bad case and it’s sad to see.”

I find it incomprehensible that someone could do such a horrible thing to a dog, especially when the animal has never hurt anyone.

Police were pursuing the culprit, who was thought to have fired from a neighboring yard. They quickly discovered bullets and a rifle concealed in a neighbor’s house.

According to the Daily Mail, the cops discovered methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia in his house along with a BB pistol and pellets.
I sincerely hope the offender pays the price for their crime and receives a lengthy prison term.

I firmly think that they should never again be allowed to approach an animal after they are released.
Hayden reports that Jackson is doing well despite his significant trauma.
