One of my favorite TV shows is Little Big Shots. Many adorable little children from all around the world are introduced to us.
For instance, consider Croatian Mia Negovetić. This 13-year-old girl has a voice that is just amazing! When I heard this amazing young star, I got chills all over. Mia traveled from Croatia to perform “Listen,” a song by Beyoncé, on the show.
Mia’s rendition of the ballad from the 2006 movie Dreamgirls astounded everyone. The song, written and arranged by Henry Krieger and Tom Eyen, is sung by the character Deena Jones, who is determined to make a reputation for herself.
“Listen” captures Deena’s steadfast will to have her voice heard and matter. The melody of the song is powerful, upbeat, passionate, and successfully communicates the message of the lyrics.
