People immediately noticed her brow hairs, which had always been exceptionally long and thick.
Not only were her eyebrows big, but each individual hair was exceptionally long, nearly touching her eyelids. She neglected them for years since she didn’t know what to do with them and was afraid they would lose their natural shape.
However, one day she made the decision that something needed to change. She requested a clean-up from the brow technician while seated in the chair, not thinking how different things would appear in the end.
The extent of the brow hairs’ extension beyond the natural line was revealed by the technician’s cautious upward brushing. Then she started cutting them down with tiny, sharp scissors.
As the design began to take shape, long strands fell gently. The eyebrows weren’t significantly changed or over-plucked. Simply put, polished. The woman’s face changed with each deliberate cut; her features became more defined, her eyes appeared more open, and she looked more put together overall.
It wasn’t a bold arch or a dramatic reconfiguration. It was subtly done. Naturally. The ideal length. It was something she had never attempted before.
She barely recognized her own brows when she finally glanced in the mirror, but in the greatest conceivable manner. They were better, but they were still hers. And there was no denying the difference.
