The Brazilian singer Gabriel Henrique gave an amazing performance at last week’s America’s Got Talent qualifier round. He decided to cover Jacob Banks’ “Something Beautiful,” which was a fantastic decision that let him display his expressive, silky voice and hit some genuinely amazing high notes.
Watching in awe was Sofía Vergara, who had given him the Golden Buzzer at his audition. The audience exploded when Gabriel struck that soaring high note, and Vergara herself hailed it as “perfection… exactly like an angel.”
“I like to sing what I feel in my heart,” Gabriel said, perfectly encapsulating it. Furthermore, it is meaningless if it is not done with love.
