Girish and the Chronicles Audition Reimagined for AGT Season 20 (June 3)

The tryouts for the NBC sitcom, which is currently in its 20th season, are creating a lot of excitement! When Sikkim, India-based rock group Girish and the Chronicles performed on stage on June 3, it was a memorable occasion. During their performance of Adele’s “Set Fire to the Rain,” judges Mel B, Howie Mandel, Sofía Vergara, and Simon Cowell couldn’t help but stand up and join in the chorus since their audition sounded and looked like an incredible 1980s rock show.

“I don’t know what it is about you, but I think you’re one of my favorite acts so far this season,” Mel B said, clearly moved. Equally astounded, Cowell said, “You can’t fake the reaction behind this.

Soon after, their performance went viral on the internet. “The fact that they performed an Adele song made it cool,” one fan wrote, while another exclaimed, “These guys are amazing.” as excellent as any popular rock group.”The world is not ready for GATC!!!!” declared some. Rock & roll will always be around.

Were they successful?Of course. The band gained their place to advance in the competition after receiving a resounding “yes” vote. Audiences are now eagerly awaiting Season 20 to see where their rock anthem energy will lead them.
