After a tumultuous thirty hours of labor, Doocy, the White House correspondent famous for questioning press secretaries and remaining composed under duress, became a parent once more. The outcome was happiness and an abundance of lovely baby photos.
In a charming Instagram image showcasing the little bundle, the happy new parents, and Bridget, the joyful big sister, the couple announced the arrival of their son, George Jack Doocy. George made his debut on April 16, which also happens to be Peter and Hillary’s fourth wedding anniversary. He weighed close to 9 pounds and measured 20.5 inches.
Peter joked in the post, “So thank you, son, for being the reason I’ll never forget to get your mom a card when I’m grabbing a birthday card for you.”
Born on Tax Day and Just in Time?
Hillary Vaughn, a Fox Business correspondent, disclosed that she started to suspect that baby George was prepared to make his debut while covering Tax Day on Capitol Hill.
She joked, “I’m glad Peter took care of our taxes early this year. Maybe he was tired of hearing me talk about taxes — I don’t blame him!”
