This heartwarming performance from the Britain’s Got Talent finals dazzled the audience despite not being a part of the competition.
Based on the well-known 1992 movie of the same name, Sister Act was a musical that debuted regionally in California before making its way to Broadway in 2011 and London’s West End in 2009.
In order to get under witness protection, a nightclub singer named Deloris Van Cartier (whom Whoopi Goldberg plays in the movie) goes undercover as a nun. She ends up rebuilding their choir and helping the nuns find their own strength and authority. A theater musical resulted from its enormous humorous popularity.
We anticipate that the play’s next West End revival will be a success based on this performance. Keala Settle, who starred in The Greatest Showman, is the star of the movie.
