The bull started caring for all of my cows in two days! Once he got beyond the fence, he even bred with all of my neighbor’s cows! He works like an automaton. The veterinarian gave him several pills, but I don’t know what they included. But they taste a bit like peppermint.

I must admit that I was nervous about spending that much money on a single animal. Do you mean $6,500? This bull was worth every penny, and oh, was that remark accurate. That’s a lot of potential burgers and steaks.
With the swagger of a prizefighter, the bull, whom we’ll call Hercules, arrived to my farm. powerful physique, thick neck, and eyes that said, “I’m here to work.”Within 48 hours of being on my property, he immediately began to work. Before I could even introduce him to the women, he was out there making connections, real connections.
All of my cows have been serviced. At the county fair, some of them were lined up like they were waiting for a ride, so it wasn’t just once. Hercules seems to be aware of his assignment and determined to complete it quickly.
But he didn’t stop there.
Two days later, I saw the barrier had been taken down. I saw him on the other side, luring my neighbor’s cows like Casanova with his hooves, just as I was about to lose my patience about repairs. I’ve never seen anything like it. “I guess we’re going to be co-parenting next spring!” my neighbor laughed.
I am unsure of the vitamins the veterinarian had given him before to his arrival, but they worked well. When I asked the veterinarian about them, he just winked and handed me a small bag of tablets with a peppermint flavor. I thought he was joking until I accidentally tasted one myself. In fact, it’s quite revitalizing.
Hercules is a machine. He’s better than a machine, no. He will always be remembered as a legend. I’ve already received inquiries from a number of nearby farms asking whether I’d be interested in “sharing the wealth,” so to speak. If things keep going this way, I’ll get that $6,500 back rather fast. I’m thinking of getting him a little cloak or something since he deserves it.
What lesson does the narrative teach us? It is important to not undervalue a prudent investment in superior animals. And maybe take another look at your fences.
