This is the ultimate magic trick—imagine getting dressed this fast in real life!
With origins dating back to the 15th or 17th century, quick change artwork has captivated audiences for generations. Its capacity to stay up with the ever changing fashion industry or the allure of finishing a work in a matter of seconds are probably the reasons for its ongoing appeal. For whatever reason, it is an illusion that never fails to enthrall.
Portugal-born magician Solange Kardinaly offered something genuinely original to her “America’s Got Talent” audition, even though you may have seen quick-change routines before.
Kardinaly wowed the crowd with five perfect costume changes, a pocketbook that changed color miraculously, and money that materialized out of thin air. Kardinaly holds the Guinness World Record for the most costume changes in a minute. The performance genuinely seemed a dream realized.
But it’s more than just the rapid changes that make Kardinaly unique. Playing a persona on a shopping binge, she boldly struts to Madonna’s “Material Girl,” showcasing her charisma and stage presence. She is obviously savoring every second.
The judges, Simon Cowell, Howie Mandel, Sofia Vergara, and Heidi Klum, all praised her after her performance, referring to her as “the best quick-change artist they’ve ever seen” and advancing her to the next stage of the competition.
The judges weren’t the only ones who were astounded, though. Online fans also expressed their appreciation:
She’s performing genuine magic, not just changing costumes. Amazing performance!
“Is this magic even real? I was completely enthralled with what she did!
You can’t even see how she does it in slow motion. Amazing!
“People are unaware of the amount of effort and accuracy required for such a quick-change move. She really is an expert in what she does.
Even though I am aware of how these methods operate, I was nonetheless in awe. She has obviously honed her skill over time because of how quickly she shifts.
“She is amazing! Her skill and presentation are truly demonstrated by her performance.
As for me, I’ll be here, battling for at least forty-five minutes to put on a single outfit.
