Liza Minnelli beautifully performed on stage and earned Lady Gaga’s applause

There were numerous significant moments at the Oscars. Liza Minnelli and Lady Gaga were among them. The two came out to give the “Best Picture” award as the evening was coming to a close.

The audience stood up the instant Liza went onto the platform. They responded with long-lasting thunderous applause. They were forced to wait for their turn.

As she stirred up the crowd by bringing up the 50th anniversary of Liza’s performance in “Cabaret,” Lady Gaga had her hand on Liza’s shoulder.Liza, Lady Gaga said, “You see, the audience loves you.”

Minnelli won the 1972 Academy Award for Best Actress for her role in the musical “Cabaret.” The famous Bob Fosse was the film’s director. It’s possible that Liza’s talent was passed down from her talented mother, Judy Garland.

“I’m honored to present the evening’s grand prize with a real show business legend,” Lady Gaga says. More fervent applause is given by the celebrity audience in response.

As Liza starts to present the “Best Picture” award, she makes a few grammatical errors. “I got you,” Lady Gaga says as she bends in to give Liza a shoulder pat.

Liza gets happier as Lady Gaga goes on with her performance. Liza struggled with the notecards, thus it was considerate to save her. Gaga’s kindness and generosity touched everyone.
