Occasionally, a talent makes an appearance on a reality show that causes us to reconsider everything. Our worldview, judgments, and perceptions are all called into question. And one of them is this The Voice Portugal audition.
Everyone thought the singer was a woman. I thought so, too. I imagined someone else when I heard the voice. The voice conjured up the image of a diva who was aggressive and attractive, sometimes wearing a lot of makeup to highlight her distinct personality. The judges were startled to see a drape covering the performance when they turned to look around. They listened intently till the song was over. And what a surprise when the curtain comes down.
Behind-the-scenes vocalist Bertlio Santos tried out for The Voice Portugal: Fourth Edition. Since he was a child, he had a passion for singing. At a very young age, he began singing in church and developed from there.
