Onstage, a thirteen-year-old boy held a thousand hopes. Nervousness flashed in his eyes, yet a secret passion simmered deep below. A Celine Dion favorite’s opening chords then echoed around the atmosphere. Then—magic.
The moment he opened his mouth, everything changed. His powerful, commanding voice captivated every audience member. There were gasps in the silence. His talent caused the judges to jump upright, their jaws loosened and their eyes wide. Time itself hung on each beautiful note as if it were holding its breath.
The well-known song by the incredibly gifted vocalist “Celine Dione” comes to mind when we think of the epic classic. Usually, I only hear strong female voices performing the song. After hearing a 13-year-old perform “My Heart Will Go On” beautifully, the judges of The Voice were overjoyed.
The vocally demanding chords of the love ballad necessitate a powerful voice to convey its allure. And for everyone who hears it, hearing it from a 13-year-old can be unexpected.
In addition to picking the ballad for his performance on “The Voice Kids, Belgium,” Abu Rahman did a fantastic job belting it out.
When the three judges pressed their buttons during the song’s final seconds, Abu was taken aback by the sight of a small child. At first, he seems timid. His vocals are simply outstanding after he reaches the second line.
There is an obvious expression of astonishment and immediate approval on the judges’ faces. As the song goes on, Sean even gets up from his chair and sits cross-legged on the floor, enthralled with the note Abu picks up.
Abu deserves all of the accolades that were showered upon him following the performance, from goosebumps to tears. Do you not think? After watching the entire movie below, please share your comments with us in a Facebook comment!
