The agt pianist really seems to bore the audience, until he throws out the bench halfway through and amazes everyone…

You gradually start to think you’ve seen it all if you watch reality TV shows frequently.
Even though shows like American Idol sparked our love with these competitions, other shows have kept the trend going. For those seeking an all-singing show, The Voice offers a humorous alternative, but there are other programs that are even more diverse and strange.

There aren’t many things more bizarre than America’s Got Talent, to be exact. On that show, singers compete for viewers’ attention against dancers, mimes, magicians, and everyone else.

And just when you think you’ve seen everything, something unexpected occurs to throw things off.

That definitely applicable to one of the show’s 2019 season performances.
As the video begins, the judges are all waiting for the next vocalist to perform. Upon entering, Patrizio Ratto identifies himself as an Italian pianist.

He introduces himself briefly and then tells everyone that he will be playing some classical music for them shortly. Judge Simon Cowell rolls his eyes at this moment, clearly having seen this before and showing little interest.

Nevertheless, the other judges give him space to perform, and he approaches the piano and takes a seat on the bench.

He only plays a few notes, but that’s sufficient to get a sense of the instrument before he settles down.

Then he starts playing “Für Elise” by Beethoven. It is clear that the judges are not really interested in hearing this song played repeatedly, even though he sounds amazing and has a beautiful touch on the piano. He continues even though everyone in the crowd is yawning. But then something unexpected starts. When Ratto starts simultaneously performing a number of robotic gestures, the song takes an unexpected turn.

Before long, he’s kicking the piano bench behind him and exploding everywhere.
