PARENTS WERE SHOCKED WITH WHAT THEY SAW IN THEIR CRYING BABY’S ROOM

Matt chose to shower as his wife was in their bed, using her iPad to kill time while the children were in bed. He was ready to unwind when he began to hear his infant’s cries. Then his three-year-old son began phoning his dad.

Alice was in bed, hooked to the iPad, when Matt checked on her after leaving the restroom.

When Matt questioned his wife about why she hadn’t been able to soothe him, Alice replied that she had tried three times before letting it go.

Jake’s body trembled as he whispered, “Daddy, I made a mess,” as Matt entered his son’s room. He was in tears. He insisted that was all right, and Matt tried to reassure him. Then he cleared the mess.

Jake was drenched. It wasn’t pee or water, though. It was a viscous fluid. He was terrified when he switched on the light on his phone. Red was strewn all across the room. His heart initially skipped a beat because he believed it to be blood.

Only then did he realize it was paint. It was a relief. Jake remained trembling in his embrace. He soothed his son by giving him a firm hug.

“Why didn’t your mother come to your aid?”
“Mom failed to check on me. No one came to see how I was doing.

After that, Matt cleaned his son in the restroom. Then he changed into fresh clothing. Then he led Jake into the living area. He was furious, so he went upstairs and spoke with Alice. He went up to her. Alice did not appear to care.

Mat headed to his sister’s place in the morning after packing a few things for himself and his son. He called his mother-in-law there. Then he described the circumstances.

“I will speak with Alice,” the MIL said. A few days later, she called Matt once more and said Alice’s mental health was not good. According to the MIL, her daughter was depressed.

Matt gasped. That never occurred to him. He didn’t notice because he was too preoccupied with his son and the circumstances.

She lost time for her art and herself due to the demands of parenting. For her, it has been too much. She feels imprisoned and as like she has lost her identity. MIL said.

She then clarified that she required Matt’s assistance in addition to seeing a therapist. Following that phone call, Matt went straight home and gave Alice a firm hug while apologizing without letting her.

Then Alice started sobbing. She sobbed in Matt’s arms for an hour. To solve their issues, Matt accompanied his wife to a family therapist the following day.
