During Sunday’s Billboard Music Awards, Celine Dion honored her late husband, her manager René Angélil.

Dion received the ceremony’s ICON Award, which her son Rene-Charles presented to her as a surprise. Fans, family, kids, and “most importantly, my beloved husband who I know will continue to watch over me from above” were also praised by Dion.

“This one’s for you, Rene,” she concluded. The performance must continue.

Dion’s remarks concluded a strong performance that started with the 48-year-old performing a cover of Queen’s “The Show Must Go On.”

The song was released by Queen in October 1991, a little more than a month before frontman Freddie Mercury passed away from AIDS-related illnesses. Dion recorded a rendition of the song with violinist Lindsey Stirling and released it this past Friday. She has previously sung “The Show Must Go On” at her live performances.

Seal introduced Dion, who performed with Stirling and a full orchestra while wearing a glittery outfit.
