3 brothers captivate the audience with banjo, fiddle, and guitar performances!

“The Sleepy Man Banjo Boys,” Johnny, Tommy, and Robbie, performed one of their favorite songs on the David Letterman Show. Despite just being nine years old, Johnny is an expert banjo player. He is inspired to play the violin and guitar by his brothers. What awesome kids!

An African American stringed instrument with a long and varied history is the banjo. It was originally performed by African slaves in the United States, and in the nineteenth century, white musicians began to use it. After being adapted for use in bluegrass and country music, it has now grown to be a crucial part of American folk music. The banjo is a key instrument in many musical genres and is still used extensively in many parts of the world today.

As brothers, they love performing on stage. Even though Johnny is still apprehensive, his appeal is evident when he glances up despite his hot face. Typically, Johnny plays with his eyes closed because he finds the banjo too heavy.
