13-Year-Old Romanian Girl Ventriloquist Makes a PROMISE to Simon Cowell on AGT All-Stars 2023

In order to fight for the coveted “All-Star” title, “AGT: All-Stars” has brought back 60 previous champions, finalists, and fan favorites. The top 11 acts, chosen by the “AGT” judges and superfans, were featured in the show’s finale, which aired Monday night.

Ana-Maria Margean, a 13-year-old ventriloquist, has a strong chance of winning the competition as a whole.

Ana-Maria Margean competes on ‘AGT: All-Stars’ finale

Margean, the 2021 winner of “Romania’s Got Talent,” performed “I Put a Spell On You” during the “AGT: All-Stars” finale, interspersing her performance with commentary from her puppet sidekick, Mrs. Know It All.

Heidi Klum, the “AGT” judge, remarked, “It was perfect, it was perfect, and you did it even without moving your lips.” “I think you are truly amazing.”

“I believe that’s what we’re witnessing,” “AGT” judge Howie Mandel continued, “if Ariana Grande was Romanian and 14 years old with a puppet.” “You are the epitome of what an All-Star is.”

Simon Cowell, on the other hand, stated that Margean has a good chance of making it because there is a large market for her skills. Ventriloquists who have achieved success in the field include Terry Fator and Darci Lynne Farmer, both of whom won “AGT.”

Margean’s decision to pursue ventriloquism was actually greatly influenced by Fator, who made a comeback to participate on “All-Stars” earlier this season.

During the finale, the adolescent remarked, “I got to compete with the person I admire most, and I just want to make him proud.”

The winner will be announced on “AGT: All-Stars” in a two-hour program that airs on NBC on February 27. Weezer, Terry Fator, Adam Lambert, Lindsey Stirling, and more musicians will join the top 11 acts for a performance throughout the show.

Who is Ana-Maria Margean?

Despite being relatively new to ventriloquism, Margean has obviously not been at a disadvantage.

Margean was motivated to learn the art of ventriloquism after she came upon a video of Fator, one of the most successful “AGT” winners ever, during the beginning of the COVID-19 lockdown. On her eleventh birthday, she received a puppet, and she immediately got to work.

She used her newly discovered skill to win “Romania’s Got Talent” in 2021.

Margean, 13, is now participating on “AGT: All-Stars” and has advanced to the finals of the competition.

Margean chose to perform a duet of Lesley Gore’s “You Don’t Own Me,” which she also sang during her “Romania’s Got Talent” audition, and joke about with her dog puppet, which her mother had crafted, for her “All-Stars” audition.

All of the judges gave her good marks and expressed amazement that she had only been doing this for a few years.

“Wow, it’s no surprise you won,” Klum remarked after the show. “You are amazing. You’re quite beautiful. You have such a lovely voice. It was also humorous, and I adore your pet.

Additionally, Margean was supported by her fellow “AGT” ventriloquists. According to Talent Recap, Farmer, who was 12 when she won Season 12 of “AGT,” posted on Instagram that she was cheering for Margean and referred to her as a “superstar.”

According to Talent Recap, Fator, the winner of Season 2 of “AGT,” expressed his pride in having influenced such a gifted young ventriloquist.

Judge Simon Cowell stated that “All-Stars” would not have taken place if Fator had not signed up to compete during Fator’s appearance on the season premiere of “AGT: All-Stars.”

“Because you have to get the best of the best if you’re going to say we have the ‘best of the best,'” Cowell stated, according to the Desert News.

Despite not making it to the “All-Stars” finale, Fator had no regrets about participating in the competition.
